THE WEDDING PLANNER…

Scott and I took a trip to Denver this weekend to meet our wedding planner.  It was nerve racking because we hired this lady over the phone…. It felt like we were going on a blind date or something … this was us going in to her office lol 

She was actually awesome… we chatted about a bunch of preliminary stuff and set up another meetin for next month!!!!  I am so excited to have her help with the design and organization of our special day!

 Overall… things so far are pretty smooth…. I made the dress decision… we just have to get our guest list all together and organized J  I want to invite everyone… but, it’s hard because our budget is totally limited… so now there’s this lil’ dilemma… WHO DO YOU CUT FROM THE LIST!?!??!  There’s so much politics involved with invites… what to do what to do…. 

I am choosing a dress today!!! I have narrowed it down to 2 different dresses and I have had THE HARDEST TIME trying to pick one of them.  It has been a real dilemma!!!! They are such different styles… and such different feels to them… and seriously I love them both.  One of them is very typical of what you would see on a bride gorgeous, soft, romantic, and a very princess-y feel. It's kinda what you picture a bride should wear.  The second dress is so unique it’s sassy, beautiful, distinctive and just a really fun and flirty feel. It has the major wow factor...

Last night I wanted Scott’s opinion…. Now, keep in mind he hasn’t seen either of them… and he won’t… but, I asked him what he thought about me possibly just getting both of them.  I would wear one of them for the ceremony and one for the reception… and that would end this dilemma all together.  I added the fact that the prices are so great at Brilliant Bridal (which is where I found the dresses) that it would really be like buying one dress at a different store... he just looks over at me and goes... "Really Kyle, you're gonna pull a Kim Kardashian?"  LOL!!!  OMG>... SO there was the shut down hahahaha... that's why I love him.

I'm so stressed. I hate making decisions so wish me luck!!!

We took a trip to Mexico last weekend and took a break from wedding planning…. That’s laughable because so far we have absolutely NO wedding planning done hahaha. I will admit though I have been overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done for this celebration.  We woke up Saturday morning to this sunrise….

So peaceful and vibrant and gorgeous…. It was a breath of fresh air… literally and figuratively. 

Now that we are back in the swing of things it’s time to light a fire under our bums and get moving!  I went dress shopping with my mom yesterday and I am confused…  I have always heard of girls trying on gowns and putting “the one” on and “just knowing” it was right.  I am a little worried that I am such an indecisive person… I am not gonna have that moment.  I feel like I have tried on a million dresses and they all look the same to me.   Even when I try to look up awesome dresses via google image I don’t like any of them!!! What is a girl to do?!?!?

My nephew was with us on the journey... and I may have tramatized him for life.... lol....

Oh and just for those people who think I actually dressed him up... relax I am not that horrible.... In fact he was having a good time. I'm pretty sure he had fun he was digging the clear chairs.

On a completely different note... Scott and I were brushing our teeth last night and I decided to start something.  I decided to narrate everything out loud…. Don’t ask me why.  Once I started it became addicting. I would say, “he stood there staring at me quietly as I thought to myself, what is he staring at. He put his toothbrush down and looked as if he was getting frustrated with me. ”  ... .... ...... Hmmmmm… It just hit me….  Now that I am writing this out it sounds WAY MORE RIDICULOUS and STUPID than it did at the time.  At the time I was under the impression that it was really funny.  Lol… I am a moron… God bless Scott for putting up with me!
