Fans of Stranger Things can look forward to a soundtrack to accompany the upcoming third season.
According to Consequence of Sound, Legacy Recordings announced Thursday that the Stranger Things 3 soundtrack will arrive July 5, one day after season three of the series debuts on Netflix. It will be available on CD and cassette, as well as digitally, on July 5.
The vinyl version of the soundtrack will come out July 26. To allow the featured songs to first be heard in the context of the show, the tracklist has not yet been announced. But the record company promised there will be "15 classic tracks," accompanied by original cast recordings.
The season is set in 1985, so Huey Lewis and the News, a-ha and Tears for Fears are all possibilities...
