HIGH STANDARDS OR LOW STANDARDS- RANKED- BASED ON ZODIAC SIGN
Aries (March 21-April 19)
10. Aries think they have sky-high standards but the truth is they tend to end up with people who are suitable for them. Aries are a lot more romantic than they care to admit so if, on the surface, someone appears to be perfect and out of a romance novel, Aries will fall for them.
Taurus (April 20-May 20):
5. Taurus has very high standards and will make sure that their friends meet them before they take any steps to advance a relationship. No matter how careful they are, Taurus still can fall for the wrong person, and when they do, they will try to reformat their list of requirements to fit that person, which tends not to work.
Gemini (May 21-June 20):
7. Geminis go back and forth on their standards. Sometimes they won't even consider someone that they can't check off all of the boxes on, and other times they couldn't be more lax about what they're looking for in a romantic companion. Gemini has difficulty deciding what it is that they want and they get anxious about whether or not a potential partner is worth taking a chance on.
Cancer (June 21-July 22):
6. Cancer has flexible standards. They tend to follow their heart and once they've fallen for someone, they see them as having all the attributes that they're looking for. Cancers love so unconditionally that it might be a huge red flag for someone else, but becomes a necessary trait for a Cancer. They don't see themselves as having low standards but as having a generous and open heart.
Leo (July 23-August 22):
2. Leos know that they're the whole package, so they need someone who can either match them or lift them up to a higher level. If a Leo settled, then they'd come to resent that person and themselves for not holding out for someone who was better suited to them. Sometimes, because their standards are so high, they miss out on the perfect partner. But they're okay with that.
Virgo (August 23-September 22):
3. Virgos tend to be perfectionists, so why wouldn't they have a long list of requirements for a romantic partner? They want someone who wants them just as bad and won't last long in a relationship where they are someone's second choice. Virgos strive to be equally as perfect as their partner which is where they can get into trouble — their standards for themselves are almost impossible for them to achieve.
Libra (September 23-October 22):
8. Libra's have fairly low standards — if the person can make them laugh and doesn't get too confrontational, Libra's cool with them. Once they've decided to be with someone, they start to second-guess their choice and the other person's behaviors can get on Libra's nerves. Maybe if Libra was clearer about their standards, they wouldn't find themselves in relationships that don’t work.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21):
- You might think because of Scorpio's very spicy nature that they'd be a little less restrictive when it comes to romantic partners; but, the opposite seems to be true. They've got a list of what they want in a partner and they won't settle for less. If they find someone who seems to be exactly what they're looking for, a Scorpio won't stop until they have them for their own.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21):
11. Sagittarius has standards but they're all superficial. They want someone who looks good, is social, and fun. They're not usually looking for something long-term anyway. When Sagittarius is blinded by beauty, they can find themselves in a relationship where they're not treated well. The good news is, if Sagittarius is being treated terribly by a partner, they have no issue with getting up and getting out of the relationship.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19):
4. Capricorns are okay by themselves, so they're not going to rush into anything just to save themselves from being alone. They have certain criteria that they like to stick to when choosing a partner. They want someone who is attractive, has strong morals, and who has their finances in order.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18):
9. Aquarians don't want to exclude anyone, so they try not to have standards or checklists. If they're sticking to their standards too closely, who knows what they might miss. It's much better for an Aquarius to be open to the possibilities and get what they want without even knowing that they wanted it.
Pisces (February 19-March 20):
12. Pisces don't want to hurt anybody and to them, having a huge list of restrictions for a romantic partner is a big NO. Someone could take advantage of a Pisces and Pisces would still give them a second chance. Pisces has been accused of being too nice, too forgiving, and not having a strong enough sense of self-esteem. There are times when they don't think they deserve anyone.
