"Stranger Things" Drops '80s-Style Mall Ad As Season 3 Teaser

Let's go to the mall, Stranger Things fans!

On Monday, the Netflix sci-fi hit debuted a teaser for its upcoming third season that plays like an '80s-style TV ad for a new shopping mall.

"Today, Hawkins is taking another step into the future with the brand-new Starcourt Mall," a narrator announces about the fictitious Indiana town where Stranger Things is set. "Families, friends and, of course, teenagers can come together to shop, hang out, dine, and enjoy."

The clip even references belated mall retailers like Waldenbooks and Sam Goody, but you won't see any of the show's major characters in the preview.

Toward the end, though, there's a brief glimpse of Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and new character Robin (played by Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman's daughter Maya Hawke) working at a made-up ice cream chain called Scoops Ahoy.

Stranger Things' third season does not yet have a premiere date.
