Prince Has Unreleased Tracks And They Drop Right Before His Anniversary Of His Death

A set of previously unreleased tracks from the late Prince appeared on iTunes last night, ahead of the one-year anniversary of the musician’s death.

TMZ reports that the new EP is titled Deliverance and features six new songs. The project is available now for pre-order for a mere $3.99, but only the title track is available for listening.

The other songs won't be available until April 21.

According to SPIN, the songs were recorded between 2006 and 2008 and were co-produced by Prince and Ian Boxill.

The EP is being released on the independent label RMA (Rogue Music Alliance) and the "majority of sales of Deliverance will benefit Prince's estate."
