This Girls Bathroom Replaces Mirrors With Positive Messages

A high school in Southern California has swapped out mirrors in its girls' bathroom for signs of affirmation.

Laguna Hills High School students look at signs that say things like, "You are beautiful" and "You are enough," instead of looking at their reflections.

17-year-old student, Sabrina Astle, says she "wanted to find a way to make a difference through our Kindness Club on campus."

She says they made signs with specific messages for the school’s "What if … Week," and said one of the daily questions asked, 'What if we showed more love?'"

The signs were placed all over campus, including the student bathrooms, and reaction was very positive. Now the school’s activity director says there are no immediate plans to take them down.
