Rihanna will receive Harvard Humanitarian of the Year award in a ceremony next Tuesday.
She is receiving the honor for her charitable worth through her foundation, Clara and Lionel Foundation Scholarship Program.
Rihanna was also promoting education and allowing students from Caribbean countries to attend colleges in the U.S.
The "Love On The Brain" singer also supported the Global Partnership for Education and the Global Citizen Project last year.
